4 Minutes of science, 10 minutes of injuries

Many people think that mythbusters has the most awesome job around. Doesn't take much to guess why when they get to blow stuff up, smash things and shoot guns for their job. Their job is more like what someone will do to release stress or have fun. ModCloth blog has even interviewed one of the mythbusters Kari Byron about her awesome job and if it is her dream job and her interview pretty much sums it all up that she has one seriously fun day job.

But personally i think that most people are overlooking the stuff they have to do to prepare for the show.
Mostly the other mythbusters Tori Bellici and Adam Savage are always taking the not so fun part of the job where they put their bodies on the line. Getting injured is pretty much part of the job in my opinion.

Quotes from the two most frequently injured mythbusters.
"If I had a nickel for every time I got hit in the [testicles] on this show, I could retire," Bellici said.

Savage had some hair burned off during an explosion test in the "Cell Phone Destruction" myth, which invoked one of his more famous quotes: "Am I missing... an eyebrow?"

  1. Although it may seem like a fun job, I'm sure that behind the scenes, they are putting much effort in making their shows entertaining for the viewers. Good job collecting all the videos together and describing your opinions about it in one post. Keep it up!

    1. Yea, the stuff they do behind the scenes are a lot less fun then the show itself.
